The festivities continue with a presentation showcasing the NYPD Shomrim Society’s history and its contributions to New York City and Policing. This will be followed by some words from some of the most historic and influential people in today’s society. Additionally, the evening will pay tribute to one remarkable individual whose extraordinary contributions have elevated both the Shomrim Society and American society. After the showcase, the night will end with a fantastic and diverse dessert reception, including music and enjoyment. Attendees from diverse community hubs nationwide and abroad will unite for this memorable occasion to celebrate the history of the NYPD Shomrim Society.

This year’s Gala takes place at the captivating Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, nestled at the tip of Lower Manhattan in Battery Park City, offering breathtaking views of the New York City harbor. Gala tickets grant exclusive access to a Museum exhibition throughout the evening, alongside a sumptuous culinary experience complemented by live music that captures the essence of Shomrim and Jewish culture.

Personally curating each menu, Chef Teyf will craft a specially-themed Jewish journey for the Gala Banquet, drawing inspiration from our community’s traditions from NYC. Rest assured, all food will be Glatt Kosher under Orthodox Union (OU) supervision, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
